Whatever happened to 2007??
FYI: Im writing this blog while at the same time waiting to be connected to "XXX Bank" Customer Services officer (CSO).
"Thank you for waiting. Your call is important to us and will be answered by the first available officer." said the pre-recorded message.

15mins had gone by and moi still on hold to speak to a CSO!
That's a new record man!!
The reason why moi is still PATIENTLY holding on and not hanging up the phone or throwing it out of the window is cos i need a favour from them. You see, in the midst of moving, moi seen to have overlooked my XXX credit card bill. I opened it today and realised that the due date is or i meant WAS 31DEC2007 and under the fine print, a late charge of $45 per account will be levied if payment is not received by due date!!!!

Obviously, moi not gonna pay $45 late charges just cos i kinda overlooked it in the midst of moving to my new place.
Picked up the phone and immediately dialed the Customer Service hot line which brings me to where i am now
"Thank you for waiting. Your call is important to us and will be answered by the first available officer."

And finally moi hear a human voice speaking and not the pre-recorded message.
After explaining to the CRO my situation and blah blah blah.....XXX bank agreed to waive the late charge and advised moi to sign up for Giro payment which i politely declined.
Perseverance and patience saves moi some moolas...
