OMG! Take That band in Taipei

Moi always lament about how i never come face to face with any Celebrities
(READ: Wax figurines from Madam Tussard museum DOES not count!!)

I wanna meet ANY Celebrities..even the ones from Mediacorp in Singapore!!
The almost near impossible mission: to meet the Beckham family(heard they are moving to LA!) and the Brangelina family..

Just the other day, a couple of us were having a drink at the Taipei Sheraton's lounge (free welcome drink coupon) when we heard a bunch of screaming girls outside the entrance. Taking a peep, we saw a caucasian guy being surrounded by a group of teenage girls. They were taking turns to take photos with him and holding posters and banners. We couldnt make out what the banners say but assume that he must be someone famous. A couple of minutes later, he excused himself and walked right into the lounge. As he walked passed where we were sitted, moi.....YESH...MOI!! shouted to him "Hey, are you famous?"... he turned, smiled and replied "No, im not famous"

We were there in the lounge for another hour or so and the bunch of teenage girls were still waiting outside... When we left the lounge, moi happened to glance at the banner which read "Take That Band : Mark Owen!!"

Take That band!! omg~
That's like from my era!!! I remembered listening to their songs likes Back for good, Relight my fire back in the early 90s

I even like their latest song, Patience~

urghhhhh.....So near, yet so far....
I could have taken a picture with Mark Owen from Take That band!!!!

Dear Mr Mark Owen....hope you remember the ignorant girl who shouted "Hey, are you famous?" in Taipei Sheraton lounge on 25th Jan...
the Queen sincerely apologise

Pictures from the lounge... Moi could have taken a picture with Mark Owen!!!!

UGHHHHHHH
Lunch was at a Japanese restaurant near to our hotel...The Cod fish that moi ordered was just fantastic!!! I love cod fish~
*droolz*
With Jessica~
Check out her dimples!! I love DIMPLES!!!
prayz my children will have dimples!! keke
Mr XXXXX asked moi to touched up my makeup before the flight...He said it's too light.
After moi re-applied tons of colours onto my poor face, he commented "See! You look so much more radiant now"
-_-"

I looked like more like a Chinese Opera singer lor....

Venezia~

Damn funny~

Mommy told moi that my credit card company called our house at 9am in the morning to verify that "Ms Ng" is indeed in Milan...

That was after moi swapped my credit card to pay for the Gucci bags...
Well, the good thing is :
The credit card company is doing a great job by making sure that no one other than Ms Ng is using the credit card to make purchases
(prob more to save themselves in the event that the credit card is indeed being misused! and Ms Ng refuse to pay for the disputed amount)
the not so good thing is :
My own family KNOW that moi is doing some SERIOUS shopping overseas! -_-"

And its happens EVERYTIME!!!

Urghhhhhhhhhhh

I guess i shouldnt be complaining, the BANK truly has my interest at heart (in a way?)

The first time it happened, moi was happily in Paris buying my LV bag. When I got back in Singapore, my mommy casually asked "So you bought something expensive in Paris huh?"
I thought my mommy had psychic power or something and confessed to my crime... Then i found out from my sista that "The Bank called"

Ahhhhhh.... sodesnei~

So everytime when moi does some serious damage to my bank account, the Bank will call my house and verify that "Ms Ng" is in blah blah blah country...

si bey handworking lor, if you asked me!!

Alrite, back to my Venice trip....
Took tons of pictures..so gonna collate most of them together....

Met up with my sightseeing kakis @ 6.15am and find our way to the main train station.
Mode of transport :
Eurostar
Price of the ticket : 46Euros for two ways
Duration :
2hours and 40mins to Venice
(that's like almost 6hours of travelling time... up and down!!! Geez~)

Yupz...Its gonna be a long journey ahead!
Early in the morning, the sun is not even up yet..yawnz
At the train station... very grand isnt it?

The sightseeing kakis!!!

At Venice~

St Marco Square~

Having a nice Fanta Orange at St Marco's Square....
Sitting in the Gondola~ a long narrow boat used on the canals of Venice.
Although it is now mostly used for tourists, or for weddings, funerals, or other ceremonies
(the guy rowing the gondola is CUTE!)
Venice is world-famous for its canals. The islands on which the city is built are connected by about 400 bridges. In the old center, the canals serve the function of roads, and every form of transport is on water or on foot Venice is also famous for their hand-painted masks...
Some of them can be quiet eerie though... Ah Ken and Veron bought one for moi when they were there 2 years ago...Awwww, so sweet of them..
Venice is truly a beautiful place to visit... I'll be back!!!

Fashion capital of Italy....Milan!

Came back from Milan yesterday...
still feeling kinda jetlag... i need my beauty sleep~

Well, the flight to Milan was fun! Went sightseeing in Venice (more pictures of that later), colleagues are all very onz... Truly the Shopping/sightseeing queens!!

First stop!!! FOOD~~
moi having "Spaghetti e vongole" at one of the cosy Italian restaurant....
Next stop?
SHOPPINGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Came across this beautiful Cathedral smacked right in the centre of townMilan is truly the fashion capital of Italy...everywhere you go, you are bound to see people carrying Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and blah blah blah. And their dressings are so chic and classy! People wearing fur coats are plentiful (even though i support anti-fur!! Do you know that millions of animals are killed for their fur!!!! totally disgusting)

Walked past my favourite store....Droolz~
Didnt get any Louis Vuitton stuff this time...

Instead moi bought GUCCI, Made in Italy!!!!
How could people come to Italy and not buy any Gucci stuff??
My shopping kakis!!! Yesh, every single one of us bought at least an item from Gucci..
The Italians should thank us for contributing to the economy of Italy.... but we are nothing compare to our Japanese counterparts.... They really buy tons and tons of Gucci and LV stuff!!!
The Cathedral at night fall....doesnt it look grand?
Dinnertime....
Had "Marinara" this time
Upon reaching the hotel, moi immediately took out my new bag...
Its a NEW YEAR! so i need a NEW Bag!! and it's a present to reward myself for all the hard work i've put in for the past year..
I just love the feel and smell of new bag! moi felt in love with the bag the moment i saw it!!
And it helps that the straps come in PINK!! and there's this beautiful butterfly charm hanging on the strap..
my heart was totally sold!
Cost of the bag? 540euros (S$1080)
Yupz, burned a big hole in my pocket but the feeling?
PRICELESS

I really feel so good holding the bag....
Moi helped my fren to buy a Gucci bag as well....It was kinda rush and she can't really rem which model number it was... In the end, the model number that she gave moi was not the one she wanted...

Sheesh~ wrong bag... *SAD*
Oh well, what to do? Sighz...i felt so bad now...And it's like 500Euros(S$1000)!!!...

She said she doesnt really mind....BUT STILL~~
I mean i would be truly devasted if i wanted to buy like say, A model and instead had to settle for a B model.....

Soopin, really paiseh leh~
Actually the B model also quite nice leh....Seriously! i almost wanted to get the same model but a different colour....

So the rest of my Milan stay was spent eating pasta, risotto, pizza, pasta, risotto or pizza... No offences, I love Italian food.. But eating them for 4 consecutive days in a row, 3 meals a day...
i crave for CHINESE FOOD or anything not Italian!!!
So imagine my excitment when my colleagues said, "Let's go to a chinese restaurant!!"
happily walked all the way there to find out that, YESH, restaurant is manned by all Chinese staff BUT THEY SERVED ONLY ITALIAN FOOD!!!

URGHHHHHHHH

Felt so cheated... WHAT Chinese restaurant!!! I cant wait to go back to Singapore and have my bak ku teh or hokkien mee or Chinese rice or or or... *sighz*

Venice trip coming in the next post!
