my phone gone crazzzzzyy~

I had enough of my current handphone!!!

Feel like throwing the damn thing out of the window!!
Except moi's not gonna do it, in the event that moi's ultra bulky chunky phone hit someone on the head and give the unlucky one a mild concussion

GRRRRRR....

For the last couple of days, it had hanged like a zillion times, error msgs had been popping out every couple of second and the battery KAPUT in just 5hours flat!!

It's now on permanent charging whenever i'm at home...

The best part?
when moi is talking over the phone, it would magically switch between loudspeaker, handset, loudspeaker, handset..................which is so darn irritating!!!

UGHHHHHHHHH

Scene:
In the MRT talking to Tom..
Moi: I love you the mostest (whispered sweetly into the handphone)
Tom: I love you too, HONEY BUNNY!!!!
(Tom's voice suddenly came out loud and clear over the loudspeaker)
Passengers around moi all turned around and looked at the
"so called honey-bunny"

Moi..................faint on the spot!

Alright...that have not happen...yet
BUT IT MIGHT HAVE....

The phone has to go...
Sorry pal~ no hard feeling huh...
Moi was looking for a decent phone and finally shortlist down to these two models...

The New N95 with 8G memory
or the Dopod 810 Wahhhhh...Both phone "si bey chio" and sleek right?
Cant make up my mind yet...

I had been a NOKIA user all my life (except once when moi used a Samsung phone which was XXXX *CENSORED*). So obviously, im more inclined to Nokia. Both of the N95 and Dopod 810 have similar functions: 3G,GPS, Wi-fi, Quad band (for Japan & South Korea) which are what i wanted.

The Cons:
For Nokia===> No touch screen. It's not using windows mobile so i cant use alot of softwares like SYKPE etc
For Dopod====> It doesn't come with the number keyboard, have to use the stylus and moi had never use a PDA phone before.

Suggestions anymore?

A lesson learned~

Omigosh...i can't believe i spent my 2days off sitting at home and fiddling around with my Facebook account
*faint*
and that probably explains the lack of updates on bloggie....
Is there an illness call "Facebook addiction" -_-

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Moi learned a valuable lesson on my London trip recently.
The day started out pleasantly. I had a really good sleep, spent the whole afternoon walking around Oxford street and making plan to meet up with Ken for dinner.
With my hands full of my Primark goodies (sidetrack abit: If u are ever in UK, remember to make a stop at Primark!!! Their stuff are affordable and value for money) moi decided to head back to my hotel room first before meeting up with Ken.
While i was walking along the corridor to my room, out of the corner of my eyes, i saw a young chap turning into the corridor. My first reaction, of course, was to quickly open the door, dashed in and slammed the door shut. You never know if the person might just pushed himself into the room.
A minute later, i received a call on my hotel phone.
Caller: Excuse me, I'm calling from the reception. My colleague saw u coming into the hotel.
Moi: Ermm...okayyyyy...Yesh?
Caller: well, it appears that there a problem here. Your current room had been assigned to another customer.
Moi: I dun understand *confusion*
Caller: We need to confirm your credit card details. Are you using a Master or a Visa card?
Moi: My company pays for the room charges. We do not use our credit cards.
Caller: You see, madam, our headquarters has come down with a new requirement. We had alot of customers who damaged or destroyed the hotel properties and in order to track them down and recover the cost, we need your credit card information. I just need the first 8digits of your credit card number.
Moi: I have been staying here so many times and this is the first time you are asking for my credit card details.
Caller: It's a new requirement. May i have the first 8digits of your credit card numbers?
Moi: Ermmm...alright...Its XXXX XXXX
Caller: May i have the next 8digits?
Moi: I thought you just need the first 8digits?
Caller: Its JUST for record purpose.
Moi: XXXX XXXX
Caller: And the expiry date?
Moi: MM/YY
Caller: Next, if you look behind the card, you will see a 3 digits number. What's the numbers?
Moi........really really suspicious at this point in time
.........(long pause)
.........(long pause)
it's XXX (a number that i just conjured up in my mind)
Caller: Thank you. Rest assured that nothing...nothing will be credited to your credit card.
and he hung up.
This is the gist of it. I cant remember the full conversation.
Thinking back, throughout the conversation, my sixth sense was really kicking in and my antenna was on HIGH ALERT. The moment he asked moi about the last 3digits behind my credit card, moi realise that it's definitely not right.
Moi immediately called the bank and reported the loss of credit card. Once that's done, i called Tom (it was like 2am in Singapore) and told him what happened. Before i knew it, i was bawling over the phone like a baby cos i felt so totally stupid that i managed to fall for a trick like this.
When moi told Ken what happened when we met up later on.,i could have swore that the look he gave moi was "HOW CAN YOU BE SO XXXXING NAIVE AND STOOPID ".
Of cos he didn't say that outright.
The good thing is, moi realised that i had been duped and cancelled the credit card immediately. Else it's gonna be one expensive mistake if the caller start making online transaction.
I also learned, quoted from TOM: "NEVER NEVER EVER GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE"
*cut my credit card into half*
Morale of the story: It can happen to YOU too!
After all that had happened, moi cant believe that I'm still in the mood for shopping.
But i did.
Dragged Poor Ken between 2 H&M shops to try this beige coat, like a zillion times.
Cost moi 70pounds (S$210). Darn expensive lor.
Thanks Ken! For accompanying moi up and down Oxford street, in the bloody cold, to buy this coat.
Party time!
Went partying with my frens at St James Power house last Wednesday. It was Ladies night and Power house is giving out 5 drink coupons to all the ladies!!
The privilege of being a woman!!
Woo hoo~
It's been awhile since moi went clubbing and i have every intention of getting myself drunk!
A tower of Tiger Beer! Courtesy of my buddy, Darren.
Our favourite!! Tequila shots!!
Cheers!!
Shiok! In fact we had two rounds of Tequila shots....Thanks to the free ladies coupons
Im sure we're not suppose to share our drinks with the guys but what the heck! When you're starting to feel abit high (alright, it was just me feeling high) u dun really care about stuff like thisI think moi had a few drinks too many and started proclaiming my love for Lily and Jany.
And Tom obviously.
Lily say she loves me too!! Hee
We love each other.....
Tom and Moi making faces!
Tried to take a photo of the guys in my drunk state and failed...
They are totally wasted too!!I think Lily and Jany were the most sane by the time the night was over.
Me totally cant remember much. Thanks to a couple of beer, 2 vodka cranberry, 1 gin& tonic, 2 tequila shots, 1 Bourbon coke, a jug of Long island tea, a jug of Screwdriver and a jug of "CANT REM WHAT"
Had a terrible hangover the next day. Blah.
But totally worth it...Ha
