There's something strange in the neightbourhood...

And of all places...it had to be so near to my new place in Punggol!! -_-

Moi and my colleagues were swapping ghost stories on our flight back from Maldives
(Hey, overnight flight mah and all the passengers were sleeping!) when someone mentioned about the haunted house near Punggol MRT.
My antenna immediately went on high alert!!

"PUNGGOL?!?! NEAR THE MRT?!!???" @@
Fyi, Tom and moi just bought a place near Punggol MRT and we'll be moving in DEC.

"The Matilda House. Didnt you hear about it?"
Moi shook my head vigorously....

Once back home....Moi quickly did a Google search on it. I'm so amazed that so many pple knew about it...except MOI
Kuakuakua

In short, this house used to belong to the Cashin family. It is called Matilda House, named for his paternal grandmother and built in 1902 by his father, Mr Alexander Cashin, as a present for his wife. It has been left abandoned for many years and in it's rundown state, many people claimed that it's supposedly "haunted". Looking at the photos, i could easily tell why. Strangely, it's the only building smacked right in the middle of an empty field. Rumours had it that they wanted to tear it down for development but the machines would just break down at the last minute. Dare-devils who ventured to the house in the middle of the night claimed to see/feel shadows inside.
On 21 February 2000 the URA has given conservation status to the Matilda house saying that it's a heritage landmark.

Whether its really haunted or not? Nobody know.
So anyone know the number for Ghostbusters?
