Just came back from my Zurich flight on Monday...
Was hibernating in my room the whole time cos i was super super sick
Think sore throat, fever, running nose, cough...
yupz, you get the picture..
With nothing to do, moi had MTV channel on for 24/7 because
1. its the only TV channel not dubbed in German.
(can you imagine watching CSI and Spongebob Squarepants in German?)
2. BBC is informative but ZZZzzzzzz in my context
Seriously, i failed to understand why shows like CSI, Desperate Housewives and other American shows are dubbed in German? Especially when majority of the Swiss people speaks and understand English? When moi was in Sweden, it's the reverse. These American shows are broadcast in the original langange i.e English but with swedish subtitles at the bottom.
With the MTV channel on the whole time, moi manage to catch a couple of programs that's not shown in Singapore. One of the really interesting show (not sure if its shown here) is Parental Control

In short, the show is about how the parents dislike their children's partners so much that they themselves will choose from a list of hopefuls to go on a date with their children. At the end of the day, the children will decide whether she/he wish to continue the relationship with the existing partner or CHOOSE the one selected by their parents.
I absolutely cant imagine MY OWN parents doing that to me.
But as they always say, Only in America

And this guy on the left, is the current BOYFRIEND.i.e. THE POSSESIVE LAZY BUM WHO DOESNT TREAT HER RIGHT
(seriously, i think the two guys picked by the parents look so much better than him)
The parents and the CURRENT BOYFRIEND watching from the TV while the daughter go out on the dates with the parent's choice
I think this guy is really really cute and he look so wholesome*droolz*
After the two dates, its time for the daughter to decide who she wanna go out with.Does she want to continue the relationship with her current boyfriend OR go with the parent's choice
She chose her current boyfriend, of course.Maybe sometimes parents doesnt really know what's best
