There's an ang moh living in my block~

and it's not Tom....

Moi was just at the lift lobby, after a jog in the park
(that had me almost fainting after 22mins!)
yupz, that's how unfit i had become! -_-

So i was at the life lobby waiting for the lift, all hot and sweaty, when i turned around and saw this ang moh guy standing behind me.

My mind immediately registered "OMG, there's an ang moh living here...in MY BLOCK?!?"
The reason why i think he lives here (not wild guesses, mind you!) was cos he was carrying like 3 bags of groceries from NTUC and a jumbo pack of toilet rolls in the other hand.

How can someone who carry a jumbo pack of toilet rolls in one hand and still look dignified baffled me

If im living at District Nine or one of those condo with fancy names, having an angmoh or even an ang moh family as neighbour is probably like "Oh so common" *yawnz*
But in 30years old three-rooms HDB flats? Heartlands BEDOK?!?! That's like 'OMIGOSH!!"

hmm...Come to think of it,Tom is renting a 30years old three-room HDB unit as well..

Im not sure why, but it just surprised moi when i see ang mohs hanging around the heartlands...
Like just the other day, when moi was at Bedok NTUC with Tom shopping for groceries..
i was like "Tom... TOM...psst, See over there!!! There's an ang moh family buying groceries at Bedok NTUC!!!" *wide eye*

Tom gave me a quizzing look that probably reads
"DO I CARE? DOES IT MATTERS? IM BUYING MY GROCERIES AT NTUC TOO and HEY, DO YOU REALISE THAT YOUR FIANCE IS AN ANG MOH AS WELL..."

Alright, so i was weird for making such a biggie out of it... But hey, they sure were hard to miss among the sea of black hairs.....

With the Toa Payoh's most famous "Ang Moh" Neil Humphreys Down Under, Maybe Tom will one day become the most famous "Ang Moh" from Bedok Heartlands?
