Lunch at cheesecake factory!

Located on the 8th Floor of the Macy’s Building in the heart of Union Square, downtown San Francisco is "The Cheesecake Factory"

If the name "cheesecake factory" brings to mind a factory-like place with tons of machinery and conveyor belts filled with cheesecakes in the making, and people running around in white flocks...Oh Boy, look what u miss!!! *shake my head* tsk tsk..

The Cheesecake Factory is a unique, upscale casual dining restaurant offering more than 200 menu selections including Appetizers, Pizza, Pasta, Seafood, Steaks, Salads, Sandwiches, and more. The menu also features specialty dishes like Chicken Madeira, Miso Salmon, Cajun Jambalaya Pasta, and The Factory Burger.
But save room for dessert! Try one of their 50 delicious cheesecakes and desserts such as the White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle® Cheesecake or our new Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake with a cappuccino or espresso.

First and foremost, the place is really really crowded...BE prepared to wait at least half an hour for a table (which we did!)
Thank god the owner(s) of Cheesecake factory came up with this brilliant idea of giving the customers a pager-like device as shown below

How it works!
1. tell the staff how many people is coming
2. they'll roughly inform you of the waiting time and hand you one of the pager like device
3. in the meantime, shop around Macy or hang out at the outdoor area where you can enjoy the view of San Francisco from the 8th floor..
4. Pager will start beeping once a table is available
5. Walk back to the entrance where the waitress will bring you to the table..

They even provide you a copy of the menu while waiting so you could have an idea of what to order later...
How cool is that?
much better than getting a queue number from Din tai fung and waiting impatiently for them to call your number...


This is all of us enjoying lunch! Check out the amount of food we have on our table!!
(btw, the portions are huge!! Not kidding!! So its wiser to share instead of ordering a main course each)

It will be a total sin not to order their cheesecakes!

You'll not be disappointed...
