lunch date & Gold class movie tickets~

Met up with my polymates for lunch at NYDC, Suntec. Been quite a while since i last saw them, especially Beebee who's forever travelling. She just came back from Zurich and will be flying up to India and Switzerland next week.
Bet she's earning tons of frequent flyer miles!! HAHA

That's Desmond & Jerm~
TO DESMOND: UH HUH...NO MEAT ON FRIDAY!!!!! -_-
Jerm was the one who organise the lunch outing...THANK YOU!!! ^-^
Meet up with Tom for dinner and catch a movie at Vivo city
Dinner was at Terra cafe...which was really good~
Tom told moi that he booked the Gold class tickets at Vivo GV. I was like "Gold class tickets?!?! What Gold class tickets?"
He explained that the Gold class cinemas has smaller seating capacity, reclining seats and cost like S$30/person.

And i totally didnt believe him. Where got such thing in Singapore??

Oh Boy! Now i know.....
Gold class is probably equivalent to First class on an airplane. They provide really personalised service.
When we walked thru the Gold class door, a usher welcome us and showed us to our seats. She asked if it's the first time here and i nodded. She then showed moi where to find the recline buttons and pointed out that should we need any assistance, there's a call button at the table.I must say that i truely impressed. You get a really humongous reclining armchair, lots of room and there are waiters serving you fine food and drinks. A blanket is also available if you feel too cold
Moi flippin thru the menu. No doubt that the prices on the menu are slightly more expensive than those food counters outside. A glass of coke costs S$4 and the Nachos we ordered was S$9.I must say that overall, it was a really nice experience (except that its difficult for us to cuddle cuddle). At S$30/person, its kinda expensive to pay to watch a movie (as compared to regular movie ticket at S$9.50). But those reclining chairs!!! so comfortable~
The most amazing part? The whole place was fully occupied. I must say Singaporeans are really a rich lot.

Thanks Tom for the wonderful experience. Im sorry to doubt you.
Isnt it amazing that a foreigner knows more about what's available in Singapore than a local girl like me. Tom mentioned that this Gold class thingy has been around for a couple of years

Well, so from now on, we only buy Gold class tickets?? keke
KIDDING!!!!

in H&M changing room~

HAHA!! Ultra "Bo liao" moi taking a photo of the nice top that i'm trying in H&M store

Striking a silly pose~
And yesh...i did buy it eventually...

Mt Titlis, Zurich~

Gonna be a long blog cos there's like almost 38 photos
(fyi, we took 200++photos!!)
Moi had a hard time deciding because all the photos look so nice!! the view, the scenery, the deep blue sky...
Oh man!!! It was totally breath taking~

Mt Titlis, at 10,000 feet, is one of the many mountains in Switzerland~
It offers snow and ice experience on the highest viewpoint in Central Switzerland

Meet Shankar!! my sightseeing buddy to Mt. Titlis, fyi, he's like from the entertainment industry before he joined the airline and claimed to be somehow famous among the Indian population~ (although i have no idea who he is) >_<
On the bus to Mt. Titlis~
Journey took almost 2hours...with nothing to do, we start snapping photos with the outside view as background
Finally, we reached the base of Mt Titlis~

UP WE GO~

We saw people skiing down the slopes....so cool~Going higher and higher~
More people skiingReached 8200 feet
Up we go again to 10,000 feet above sea level
This is the ice cave right on top of Mt. Titlis

It's bloody cold in there, you can tell from Shankar's expression...
now i know how eskimos live
Shankar is so sweet! He wrote my name on the icy cold wall...
Awwww~ *touched* The view from the top of Mt. Titlis...
issit just me or do you think the sky looks bluer up at 10000feet...
I donno why i stick my tongue out~
Must be something about Shankar..haha

Took a photo with a skier? i love his hair!!!
The little girl in me loves fluffy snow~To Shankar: Hey Dude! the bunny ears thingy is so passé :P
I was literally screaming my head off from top to bottom..It was so embarrassing~This is probably one of the most memorable photo. The guy who took this photo tried 5 times before finally taking it. We asked him to press and hold down the button (who sounds really easy) but somehow or rather, when he said he took the picture, we viewed the preview...and its not there!!! Arghhh..had to do it for another 5times before he finally managed to take a photo.. Geez~ I guess that's the problem when there is only two persons in a tour.
It's either Shankar takes my photo, then we will switch and i'll take his photo...
So hard to take a photo with both of us in it...

Moi took a photo of a cute lil toddler throwing a tantrum...i thot it was cute. Shankar said it was mean of me to take a photo of him crying...keke Photo of moi and this blue-eyed baby doll.
She is SO SO SO ADORABLE!!!
Such an angel~
I wanna have a baby!!!!!!

URGHHHHH

Darn, i just love blue eyes~ it's so so mesmerizing
Tom have really beautiful sky blue eyes. I could just stare at them all day long...
isnt it depressing that my children wouldnt have Tom's blue eyes?
Sighz, their will prob be dark or light brown....

More photos of Mt TitlisAnd finally a group photoNEXT STOP:
Lucerne, is a city in central Switzerland and also one of the highly recommended places for tourists. Takes about an hour by train from the Zurich airport and 45mins by train if travelling from Zurich city to Lucerne

We are super duper lucky to be there when they are having a street carnival~
The carnival is famous for it's chaotic "march any direction you like" street parades and elaborate masks. It's so amazing to see the whole population of Lucerne decked out in elaborate costumes. From small toddlers to 90 years old man. The whole family participating in this special event~
One of the city's famous landmarks is the Chapel Bridge. Unfortunately the old bridge was burned down on 18th August 1993 by some insane person. Within a few months it was rebuilt again..Night falling~
time to head back to Zurich city..
Hope to be back someday~
