After being away from Singapore for 8days, coming home to a smoke-filled and hazy enviroment was definitely not a pleasant welcome back.

Weather in Frankfurt was great! the cool autumn breeze makes me feel like im walking around in an air-conditioned room except its
au Naturel.
The same goes for New York! Pretty sunny when i was there... It was Colombia day when we touched down and we were just in time to catch the massive parade happening at 5th Avenue.
But here in Singapore, its a different story. The air smelled burnt, my clothes stink and my throat felt really dry after being out for just 2hours!!
ST online shows the PSI reading at 130 (4pm). That's Unhealthy level by the way. And let me tell you, its getting worse by the second!

I always looked foward to coming home after being away for a long time. I miss Tom, my family, my BED!! MOMMY COOKING!! But this time, i wish i had stayed in Frankfurt or New York for a couple more days. It just so horrible!


An all important person from Indonesia had apologised for the smoke choking the region. But please don't let it be NATO (No Actions, Talk Only).
While its too late this year to prevent the fire that cause the haze, it's critical to take action now in order to prevent future forest fires.

psst: moi operating a Jakarta nightstop tomorrow morning. Since i have a couple of hours there, mabbe i should try dousing a couple of fires and save Singapore from the polluted air!! how patriotic is that? HAHA!

Amino Collagen from Meiji

First, it was the Clarins Total Body Lift. Now its Meiji's Amino Collagen!

Moi was convinced by my colleague to give this a try. She's currently on FANCL Tense Up but gonna switch over to try this new product from Meiji (cost is definitely a big factor in the switch!)

You know arh, since i started flying in 2004, moi can see a huge change(for the worse apparently!) in my health and body i.e like gaining 4kgs in 2years!! omg!!. I tend to fall sick really easily, my complexion worsen i.e pale and outbreaks, the vericose veins are starting to come out due to long hours of standing, my sleep cycle is affected. This is really really bad..

Time to start doing damage control!! which is why moi decided to give this Amino Collagen a try! i wanna aged beautifully like....Cindy Crawford or Kim Basinger

What's Collagen?
Collagen is a type of protein and one third of the proteins in the human body consist of collagen.

You notice that your skin somehow has lost its tautness... that your cheeks are becoming saggy... a shortage of collagen in the skin's dermal layer makes ur cheeks becomes saggy and your skin to lost it's bounce and tautness. Cooking Method
Metal hot plates are heated to over 200 degrees Fahrenheit by an electromagnetic cooker. Moi and Tom decided to try out it out after passing by the place a couple of times. (the long quene outside the restaurant convinced us that this must be the "IT" eating place)

Screams of "Irrashaimasssssse!" assailed our ears the moment we stepped in.

We placed our orders and wait for our food to arrive.
The food took pretty long to arrive. So Tom started fooling around with his phone camera.

its funny that we pay to cook our own food! how illogical is that? My beef turns out overcooked (i prefer my beef medium rare) and it was a tad too salty (must be too much seasoning! Darn!)

"Lash Perfection" from Max Factor

It's so werid they don't sell Max Factor products in Singapore...

My colleagues swear by their 2000 calories mascaras. They are pretty reasonable priced as well, US$6 (S$10).

Just the other day while moi was in New York, my colleague dragged me down to Duane Reade (New York Pharmacy) just to get her hands on this New "Lash Perfection" from Max Factor

Im not a biggie fan on Max Factor mascara (Maybelline is still the BEST!!) but there's no harm giving it a try.

First of all, "Lash Perfection" from Max Factor does not use the traditional brush: nylon fibres that are twisted within a wire at a set number of twists per millimetre.

Yupz..i can definitely see the similarites.

Moi decided to purchase it and tried it out. Priced at US$8 (S$14) , they are really affordable. Come on, a L'oreal or Maybelline mascasa probably cost like S$18-24. And the Chanel Inimitable? maybe around S$40? The Lash Perfection is definitely a steal.

After trying it out... TATA!!!!!!!!!!


The verdict:
I say it does glide on smoothly. It doesnt clamp up like some of the Mascara. However, it doesnt do much on the curling nor make my lashes full and long. (cant help that i have short lashes). I'll still stick to my Maybelline..Haha

Haiz, must be the signs of aging or the lack of execise..
