flying up to Abu Dhabi!
With nothing to post, moi shall write about my upcoming trip to Abu Dhabi. Kinda excited about it cos its moi's first time there. Did a wikipedia search earlier on and found out the following facts:
1. Abu Dhabi is the CAPITAL of United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Its funny cos i always think that Dubai is the capital of UAE.
i am so wrong~
2 The average net worth for Abu Dhabi's 420,000 citizens is AED 62 million (US$17 million), and more than $1 trillion is invested worldwide in this city alone.
These citizens are all freaking millionaires leh!!
3. Abu Dhabi is the RICHEST city in the world (no, it's not Dubai)
Yesh!! becos it provide one-tenth of the planet's oil
Took the picture from wikipedia.. It's the skyline of Abu Dhabi..

Random updates
Friends and family knew moi had been lamenting weeks and weeks about being rostered for training on this new airplane.
All the hype about it being the largest air plane in the world.
It is something that moi DEFINITELY have not been looking forward to.
In fact, i was thinking of means and ways to get myself out of this.
Imagine my happiness when they decided to cancel my training on the night before the training!!
whoooopieeee!! *tears of JOY*
2. Seoul/San Francisco flight
Was UNexpectantly called up from standby to do a Seoul/San Francisco flight (reason for the lack of blog updates lately). Not really enthu about it cos its means spending moola Ka$$ing Ka$$ing
SEE!!
All these orders from my frens and family
It's an extremely good time to shop in US now..
Especially when the exchange rate is like US$1 : S$1.38!!!
(used to be US$1 : S$1.75 when i first started flying)
Sorry for the super lack of pictures cos Tom took the camera when he went on a biz trip to London and also to spend some family time at Malmo.
3. New Mahjong table
My buddy, Darren knew I was looking around for a Mahjong table. When he happened to come across a shop selling mahjong stuff, he immediately called moi and asked whether I'm still looking for one. This good buddy of mine even delivered it all the way to our doorstep!!
Awww.....Thanks Darren!!!
Now the only thing missing is a set of mahjong tiles and 2 mahjong kakis!! Haha...

Manchester United stadium!!
envious huh~
My sightseeing kakis, Sylvester is a TRUE Reds supporter..Seriously!!
moi bet he'll kiss the ground they walk on..
It's a good thing for me cos he's probably the best person to feed me with information..
I know nuts about football except the same old corny joke "just 22 grown ups chasing after a dumb ball"
HEHE~ Duh, it's so not funny
Taking the bus (number 250 btw) down to Old Trafford..
It's pretty easy and cost just 2pounds each way
The ride took about 20minutes~
Could have been faster but bad traffic along the way
Tata!! my first view of Old Trafford!!
Its super massive~
Sylvester told moi that the stadium can accumulate 74,000 people!!!
That's how humogous it is!!The road sign directly pple to the stadium
Not that u need any becos u simply cant miss it.
I just cant resist taking a picture here!!
and here
Walking underneath the stadiumDarts? why would pple bring Darts to the stadium?
At lest they didnt ban lighter n ciggies
Hmmm...I wonder if smoking is prohibited as wellWe walked to the main entrance only to find out that in-door tours@ 10pounds will not be conducted today. Reason being that there will be a match happening tomorrow evening. Man U vs West Ham
(updates: Man U won btw, 4-1)
Oh well, Out of luck..
guess we could only take pictures from the outside then
who had a street in Old Trafford named after him
